ABOUT US
Hawksdale Kennel was established in 2005 when our foundation bitch BAWTRY PARK MY MELODIE 'Melodie' came to live with us. My daughter decided that she would like to show dogs and so our journey with Flat Coated Retrievers began.
We are a small kennel nestled in the foothills of the Darling Scarp near Perth Western Australia. Our dogs have 2.5 acres to run, play and happily co exist with our two ponies and a small flock of chickens and one duck. We also have a large State forrest at our back gate in which the dogs enjoy long walks exploring the bush.
In 2008 we imported our first dog. AUST CH SIMONSAYS WAITING DOWN UNDER (IMP NOR) 'Jorgi' made the long journey from Kennel Simon Says in Norway.
CH MOONSTRUCK POSITIVE RUMOUR (IMP SWE) 'Rumour' followed in 2010 a very lovely femine girl.
Our latest addition is MOONSTRUCK WALNUT (IMP SWE) 'Wally' also made the long journey from Kennel Moonstruck in Sweden to join our family in March 2015. He has a beautiful pedigree temperament and structure to match.
